Dames at Sea: Rome to Barcelona

In spring of this year I decided to take a trip to two of the cities I had not yet seen: Rome and Barcelona.  The cruiseline, Silversea had sent me a very lucrative offer cruising between those two port cities and I booked the trip, thinking I would be going alone.  In the summer I was telling my friend Carol about it and on the spur of the moment she asked if she could join me.   Every detail lined up for her to be able to go on the trip as well.  The name "Dames at Sea" came to me because it was a musical I conducted years ago at Avon Players in Rochester, Michigan.

October 30: Livorno (Guided Tour of Florence)

October 31: Portofino (Villages of Rapallo and Santa Margherita)

November 1: Monte Carlo (Riviera Corniches) *

November 2: Marseille, France (Aix-en-Provence) *

November 3: Porto Mahon, Menorca (Discover Menorca)

November 4: Palma de Mallorca (Palma Highlights)

November 5: Disembark in Barcelona

Check into Majestic Hotel

November 8: Fly home
