Dames at Sea, Day Four: The Ship

Excitement grew as we packed our bags and waited for our driver to take us to the ship, docked about one and a half hours away in Civitacecchia.  We waited in the sitting room with two very nice women, Marta and Charlotte, mother and daughter from Chicago, who had also stayed at our hotel and were going on the cruise.  We got along so well that we made plans to see one another after the cruise in Barcelona.

We were early, so we were the only ones to board and the process was very quick.  Our cabin was not yet ready so we had lunch (and Prosecco of course) on the pool deck.  We spent the rest of the afternoon resting until our dinner reservation at the Asian restaurant onboard called Seishin.
